Having worked as a graphic designer for over 30 years, I love being creative and telling stories. The recent addition of resin to my small acrylic painting has allowed me to create distinct layers and add three-dimensional found objects to enhance the storytelling. I sometimes weave bits of maps or text including stories from childhood to add dimension, a shared context or subtle humor. I am fascinated by the shadows and layering of time and space as well as the intensity and richness that the resin adds and I am inspired by Colorado’s beautiful landscapes and creatures.
