MICHELLE WOLINS FINE ART

Acrylic and resin paintings

Story has always been at the center of my work. After more than 30 years as a graphic designer, I bring a narrative sensibility to small-scale acrylic and resin paintings that explore memory, place, and the passage of time. Layers of resin create depth and shadow, allowing found objects, fragments of maps, and bits of text—often drawn from childhood stories—to surface and recede.

These works reflect a fascination with what is carried forward and what is left behind, where humor and meaning quietly coexist. Rooted in Colorado’s landscapes and creatures, my paintings honor both the beauty of the natural world and the layered stories that shape our sense of self.
